Hondupedidos — Terms & Conditions.

1. PLATFORM IDENTITY & ROLE

Hondupedidos is a digital intermediary platform that connects users abroad with local merchants and delivery services in Honduras. Hondupedidos does NOT manufacture, store, or sell products directly. All goods and services are provided by independent third-party merchants, who are solely responsible for product quality, order fulfillment, and delivery execution.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing, registering, or making a purchase through Hondupedidos, the user fully agrees to these Terms & Conditions. If the user does not agree, they must refrain from using the platform and its services.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERY CONDITIONS

The user must provide accurate and complete delivery information (address, recipient name, and contact details). Hondupedidos is not liable for failed deliveries caused by incorrect information submitted by the user. For perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or similar items), the recipient must be available to receive the order. If delivery attempts fail after reasonable efforts due to recipient absence or refusal, the order will be marked as Completed, and no refund will be issued. Digital confirmation, delivery photos, or recipient signatures provided by the delivery agent serve as final proof of fulfillment.

4. REFUND POLICY

Refund requests are evaluated individually, case-by-case. Claims must be submitted within 12 hours after delivery, including photographic or verifiable evidence.
Available refund options:

Hondupedidos Wallet (Instant credit): The refund amount will be credited immediately to the user’s in-app wallet. This credit does NOT expire and avoids international banking delays.

Original payment method: Processing may take 5 to 30 business days, depending on the payment provider (PayPal, Stripe, or bank policies). Some service fees or payment processor commissions may be non-refundable.

5. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds apply when:
The merchant cancels the order, the item is out of stock, or the delivered product is incorrect, damaged, or does not match the description, as long as it is reported within the allowed time frame with valid evidence.
Refunds do NOT apply when:
The user changes their mind after order preparation or dispatch, there were errors in user-submitted details (wrong address, wrong recipient name, etc.), or perishable goods were delivered in good condition and as requested.

6. PRICING AND PUBLICATION ERRORS

Hondupedidos reserves the right to cancel any order containing pricing errors, incorrect descriptions, or publication mistakes. In such cases, a 100% refund of the amount paid will be issued to the user.

7. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

User data is used strictly for order processing and fulfillment. Hondupedidos uses encrypted and secure payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe) and does NOT store financial or payment information on its servers.

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Users agree to contact Hondupedidos directly to resolve any issue before initiating an external claim or chargeback. Unauthorized or bad-faith chargeback claims may result in permanent account suspension.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Hondupedidos acts only as a connection bridge between the buyer and the merchant. Hondupedidos is NOT liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of third-party merchant products or delivery services. Maximum liability is limited to the exact amount paid for the order in dispute.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Honduras, without prejudice to applicable international digital commerce regulations and payment processor policies.
